Workplace Redesigned. Canva’s Newest Launch.

On May 24th, 2024 Canva hosted their Canva Creates event that showcased their launch of “Workplace Redesigned.” Throughout the in-person and virtual event, executives discussed new releases for sales, marketing, Human Resources (HR) and creative professionals.

First, marketing professionals should be excited about the new “bulk create” feature that allows a simple spreadsheet to turn into a wide array of graphics. In this virtual age, people not only have to visually learn, but visually communicate and this tool will help drastically. Another exciting announcement is Canva’s partnership with Meta and Google for their newest Ad Technology Integration. This partnership allows those on all skill levels to maximize their paid advertising across all social media platforms. Lastly, Canva has partnered with several marketing apps such as Asana, Workday, Monday, and so many more for seamless project management.

Secondly, sales professionals are now able to use Canva’s data autofill feature. Simply match data from your CRM and the fields will autofill for you. The data can be used in pitch decks, customer success materials and more. Another exciting feature is the ability to create recordings for all presentations and graphics. With this feature, time zones will no longer be an issue making you able to reach your customers whenever is most convenient for them.

Thirdly, HR professionals can now bring fun into functional learning with new course features. HR professionals can now create entire learning courses and training materials, set them in order, assign employees and check their progress. Additionally, Canva has set up HR Work Kits that have set templates for onboarding materials, employee handbooks, apps and more.

Finally, the creatives should feel the most excited. Canva has partnered with Affinity to easily create graphics making it easy to scale in Canva. The new “replace” tool gives the ability to replace an entire brand kit in just a few quick clicks. Additionally, their new “highlight” feature for videos automatically picks out important details from the video clip making it a breeze for TikTok, real estate videos, vlogging and more.

Overall, these new changes should make creating more accessible and manageable for those on all skill levels.
